Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's bout.
Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
However, the novice remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually happening.
